Project: Assessment of genetic diversity of bankvegetation along Flemish waters.
01-OCT-98 – 30-SEP-02
There is a tendency towards a more natural approach in nature conservation, especially in severely managed sites such as riverbanks. The first aim is to investigate whether there is an effect of introducing foreign genotypes in a habitat. In order to increase the success rate, it will be of major importance to have access to suitable genotypes. Morphological and genetic diversity will be investigated.
