- Thir project will explore the use of dual color FCS (fluorescence correlation spectroscopy) as a tool to study the intracellular release of DNA (oligonucleotides and plasmid DNA) from pharmaceutical c arriers (cationic polymers). FCS is based on confocal microscopy and is used to study the dynamic properties of fluorescently labeled molecules. For dual color FCS, both DNA and its carrier carry a different fluorescent label.
