Project: Identification of genes from M. hyopneumoniae, coding for antigens which are important for the protection of pigs against enzootic pneumonia
- project duration
- 01-JAN-06 – 31-DEC-07
- Enzootic pneumonia is an economically important chronic respiratory disease in pigs, cased by M. hyopneumoniae. Current available commercial vaccines induce only a partial protection. In this project, genes encoding protective antigens, will be identified. This is important for the development of more efficacious vaccines.
