Project: Electrodes as electron donors for bacterial reduction

project duration
01-OCT-05 – 30-SEP-07
This project aims to demonstrate the use of electrodes as electron donors for bacteria in combination with the reduction of a water pollutant. Tests with two kinds of pollutants, oxidized nitrogen compounds and halogenated compounds, in order to describe the crucial parameters enabling the use of them in a cathode of a microbial fuel cell.
