Project: The exotic predator Harmonia axyridis in Flanders: a risk assessment

Abstract

Harmonia axyridis has colonized Flanders as a result of the biological crop protection. The study aims to analyze the impact caused by this exotic insect and to contribute to the development of preventive risk assessments for introduced biological control agents. Aspects examined are the direct and indirect effects of H. axyridis on non-target organisms, its hibernating capacity and the presence and role of its natural enemies.
