Project: Innovation via the packaging of food products

The IWT-TD project (technological services: see ) has the mission to give support to food industry, packaging industry and machine or gas producers to allow innovation through packaging. 6 research centers and 2 network organizations are grouped in a consortium in which the financing of 2 technological advisors is organized via the contributions of IWT(80%) and the participating companies(20%). De coordinator of the project is the University of Ghent in which professor Frank Devlieghere of the department Food Safety and Food Quality is the final responsible.
