Project: Optimal reuse of processwater in food industry - case : potato processing industry.

abstract
Development of an effluent treatment technology to enable reuse of water in the production process of food stuffs is aimed. A process with deep bed filtration, ozonation, naturalization with fine grained sandfiltration and reserse osmose is proposed. Effectivety of the (above) mentioned techniques, interactions in particular configurations and reuse of the final effluent at different stages in the production process will be evaluated.
