Project: The surplus value of organic farming with respect to quality and health scientific research into facts and perception

- Organic food is often associated with 'quality', 'healthy' and 'environmentally friendly'. Research of the scientific value of these claims is however largely absent. This project therefore aims at assessing whether organic products score better or worse for these claims compared to conventional agricultural products. In an integrating part of the project, the scientific results will be compared with the perception of the Flemish.
