Project: Optical influence of thin float glass in liquid crystal displays.

- Unpolished thin float glass exhibits small surface variations, called microcorrugation, with an amplitude of 10-100 nm. This effect causes small thickness variations in liquid crystal displays, which can lead to visible color variations on the display. In this project we determine the types of LCDs that can be made with unpolished glass.
