Project: INDIGO - an inherently digital gyroscope

Abstract

In this project, research is done on solving the main problems of micro-mechanical vibratory gyroscopes. For this purpose, the use of speudo-digital Sigma-Delta techniques for both driving and sensing modes is proposed. The project goal is to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach for obtaining high accuracy MEMS gyroscopes.
