Project: Advanced Liquid Biofuels for advaced engine concepts enabled by advanced wood breeding and catlysis
2020-03-01 – 2024-06-30
- Abstract
AD LIBIO is a fundamental research project within AS 1 to store renewable energy with high density in liquid biofuels. The project aims for new biogasoline from locally refined wood, rich in cellulose, through an inventive bio-refining. The biogasoline is ideal for admixture in conventional fuels, and will eventually also be able to be used in its entirety in ultra-pure combustion engines for difficult electrification applications. Profitability, quality and sustainability in the value chain are important project drivers
