Project: Immunological methods for the detection of residues of sulfonamides in food of animal origin

abstract
Monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies specific for sulfonamides have already been produced. With these antibodies, an ELISA will be developed for the detection of sulfonamides in food products at their MRL-value. Therefore a convenient extraction procedure need to be optimised for meat products. The ELISA and the extraction procedure will be validated.
