- project duration
- 01-JAN-97 – 31-DEC-01
- In a sample of men and women aged 55 and older who participated in the BIRNH study, the predictive value of a series of variables concerning mortality, chronic morbidity, institutionalisation and survival without handicap are studied. The study also investigates the factors that may predict the health care expenditures (as a result of hospitalisation and institutionalisation) and aims to develop 2 predictive models, respectively concerning survival without handicap and health care economy.
