Project: A school-based health promotion intervention in adolescents in Ecuador: a paired, cluster randomized controlled trial.
- project duration
- 01-JAN-09 – 31-DEC-09
- This research aims to contribute to the evidence-base of preventive strategies in low- and middle-income countries by the development of a culturally relevant school-based intervention among Ecuadorian adolescents (11-13 years). Intervention strategies are developed based on behavioural change models integrated in two complementary theoretical frameworks, i.e. (i) the Intervention Mapping protocol and (ii) the Comprehensive Participatory Planning and Evaluation protocol.
