Project: Impact assessment and control of cysticercosis in the Indian subcontinent

- Cysticercosis is a major cause of epilepsy in developing countries. The project aims to provide the evidence base on the presence and impact of the infection in India and Nepal by conducting studies in humans and pigs. Interventions that are based on data generated in the surveys and on socio-economic considerations, will be implemented in selected areas and monitored.
