Project: Interaction between mycotoxins and other food contaminants: a new safety concern

Precise analyse of interaction between mycotoxins (OA en DON) and other co-contaminants present in the food: pesticides, heavy metals, hormones, antibiotics, PCB's, acrylamide, plant constituents (polyfenoles). Experimental approach is based on biological in vitro-tests (laco-2 elsystems). The bioavailability of these contaminants will be determined using analytical methods.
