Project: Evaluation of left ventricular fuction using fluido dynamical simulation.

- The aim of the project is the development of a protocol to detect diastolic dysfunction by means of non invasive measurements. Two unique fluido dynamical models will be used : a numerical 2D model and a computer controlled, pressure volume regulated physical model of the blood flow in the human left heart. Those models compute and measure the hemodynamical characteristics (velocity and pressure) for different pathological changes. Also the efficiency on diastolic function of the nervous system arterial hypertension and therapeutic intervention will be evaluated.
