Project: POM@MOF: versatile bifunctional catalysts for cascade reactions
2019-09-01 – 2023-08-31
- Abstract
The aim of this project is to prepare a series of heterogeneous catalysts, by embedding POMs into
MOFs for the following cascade reactions: (1) cyclic carbonate transformation from olefins and CO2
and (2) the oxidation-Knoevenagel cascade reaction. We envision that the combination of basic
catalysts (MOFs) and oxidation catalysts (POMs) will be a powerful approach to devise tandem
catalytic processes.
