Project: Innovative advanced oxidation processes for organic micropollutants

project duration
01-FEB-06 – 31-JAN-09
Organic micropollutants are an group of organic compounds that give rise to important environmental concern, particularly because of their contribution to atmospheric pollution. This project aims at oxidation of organic micropollutants in gaseous emissions by means of advanced oxidation technologies (AOT). Particularly non-thermal plasma based technologies and AOTs making use of membrane separation are targeted.
