Project: Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation over the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex combined with tomographic neurofeedback of the subgenual anterior cingulate cortex as a tailored antidepressant intervention with enduring effects.
2017-01-01 – 2023-08-31
- Abstract
I aim to develop an antidepressant intervention based on the modulation of the prefrontal/limbic network via two angles:
(1) a cortical entry point (via neuro-cardiac guided neurostimulation)
(2) a subcortical entry point (via neurofeedback).
I hypothesize that the combined treatment will translate in synergistic effects on clinical outcome with enduring effects.
