Project: Nanostructured surfaces for biotechnology and photonics

- This project deals with the influence of nanostructured surfaces (fabricated with holography, FIB, deep UV silicon lithography and nano-imprint) on cellular processes (growth, adhesion, differentiation, inflammation, death) as well as photonics applications (photonic crystals combined with liquid crystals, wavelength tunable devices, optical memory). Novel biological sensors will be developed as well.
