- Fluorinated azaheterocyclic compounds are of importance in both pharmaceutical chemistry and agrochemistry because of the unique properties of fluorine as a substitutent. The development of new fluorinating agents provides in new challenges to synthesize new fluorinated heterocycles. The proposed research will focus on the stereoselective synthesis of new fluorinated azetidines, pyrrolidines and piperidines bearing a diversity of interesting substituents.
