Project: Attachment, relationship experience and criminal behavior in child molesters
01/01/16 – 31/12/17
This study aims at clarifying the interpersonal functioning of child molesters. It will focus on three questions. How exactly do they engage and behave in close attachment relations with parents and same-aged partners? How do they experience loneliness and intimacy in relational sequences with parents, partners and the abused child? Do characteristics of attachment cohere with characteristics of the offense, and how?
