Project: Social implications of ICT-use in Flemish schools

- What is the theoretical and empirical base for social inequality that results from ICT-use in Flemish education? A theoretical model is developed and researched with a focus on the following questions: (1) What are differences between pupils that are related to ICT-use? (2) To what extent are these differences related to social economic status, school factors end instructional variables? (3) what are and what is the impact of prevention programmes? A survey, involving about 1000 secondary schools will involve pupils, teachers and ICT-coordinators. Multi-level analysis is the base of hypothesis testing.
