Project: Generalizibility of the design principles for learning materials derived from the "Cognitive theory of Multimedia Learning"

This research is building on the state-of-the-art concerning the theoretical and empirical base of multimedia learning. It wants to present an answer on the questions raised by previous conducted research (Mayer, 2001). The central question is: Is the available theoretical and empirical base for multimedia learning also valid in other knowledge domains different from the beta-science?
