Project: Optimisation of in vitro techniques and methods for characterisation of bacterial populations to study rumen hydrogenation processes

project duration
01-NOV-03 – 31-OCT-05
Fundamental insight in key processes of the rumen hydrogenation is essential within the research towards specific strategies to enrich milk and beef with the healthy n-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid. The aim of this project is to optimise in vitro methods and characterisation of rumen hydrogenating bacteria.
