abstract
Fundamental insight in key processes of the rumen hydrogenation is essential within the research towards specific strategies to enrich milk and beef with the healthy n-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid. The aim of this project is to optimise in vitro methods and characterisation of rumen hydrogenating bacteria.
