Project: Clinical Implementation of Rhenium-188-Lipiodol, a second generation radionuclide therapy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Abstract

By implementation of Re-188 in locoregional lipiodol therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma, we aim to show the safety, patient comfort, cost savings and improved effectivity of the use of this radionuclide. As the prevelence and death rate of this kind of cancer is very high in China, we prefer to cooperate with a Chinese hospital to perform a joint clinical trial.
