Project: Influence of ultrasonic energy on the intracellular delivery of plasmid DNA

project duration
01-OCT-04 – 30-SEP-08
The aim of this project is to examine how ultrasonic energy influence the intracellular delivery of pDNA. The first step is te designe Microbubbles that can bind pDNA in an efficient manner and can protect them from DNAses. Secondly, the influence of ultrasonic energy on the delivery of P-Cadherin-Ires-EGFP-plamsid toBLM-cells will be evaluated. Then, when the delivery efficiency becomes higher, the critical step in het delivery process has to be determined.
