Project: Identification of 11q tumorsuppressor genes and determination of the role of MYCN in a genetic subgroup of neuroblastoma without MYCN amplification and with 11q deletion.

Abstract

Experiments will be performed for identification of tumorsuppressor genes on 11q that are involved in neuroblastoma-differentiation. Differential expressed genes will be isolated by SSH (suppression subtractive hybridization) on cell lines with and without 11q deletion. These genes will be analyzed with microarray analysis and compared with genes located on 11q that are expressed in normal neuroblasts (obtained by laser capture microdissection).
