Project: Study into the role of SPI1 and SPI2 in interactions of Salmonella enterica subsp. Eneterica serovar Typhimurium with porcine intestinal epithelium and macrophages
- project duration
- 01-OCT-02 – 30-SEP-04
- This project aims at determining the role of the Salmonella virulence factors SPI1 and SPI2 in interactions of the bacterium with porcine intestinal epithelium and macrophages. The study will be conducted using knock-out mutant strains of serovar Typhimurium and in vitro models of porcine macrophages and enterocytes.
