Project: Examination of the explanatory role of self-evaluation motives when studying feedback-seeking behavior in organisations.
- project duration
- 01-OCT-01 – 30-SEP-03
- Using 3 self-evaluation motives, Self-Assessment, Self-Enhancement and Self-Verification, we examine feedback-seeking behavior in organisations and the antecedents of this seeking behavior. An experimental study and a field study in an assessment center test the central hypothesis of this project: a particular antecedent has a different effect on feedback-seeking behavior depending on the motive that thrives the seeking behavior.
