abstract
Investigation of the mechanism of the corrosion of molybdenum, tindioxide and various kinds of steel in molten mixtures of metallic and non-metallic oxides, of the reduction behaviour that has been observed in oxide melts and of the corrosion prevention by means of cathodic protection. Use will be made mainly of electrochemical techniques such as linear sweep voltammetry, potentiodynamic and cyclic-voltammetric techniques and impedance measurements.
