Project: Study of a Membrane Associated Guanylaat Kinase (MAGUK) protein in cell death signalisation

project duration
01-OCT-04 – 30-SEP-06
Tumor Necrosis Factor is a potent anti-tumor agent and therefore an ideal molecule to unravel the molecular mechanism of how a cancer cell can be efficiently killed. A number of molecules that are involved in this cell death process were recently identified in our research group. The objective of this PhD project is to unveil the functional role of one of these molecules in TNF-induced cell death.
