Project: Optical instruments for innovating, detailed macro- and micromorphological study of Lactarius (Russulales, Fungi), microfungi on Reed and sout-American andeae Cyperaceae and Caricaceae in Ecuador (flowering Plants).

- For macro- and micromorphological studies in Flowering Plants and Fungi, photographic documentation is indispensable: morphological features confirm the more cryptic anatomical and molecular-genetic characters. When combined, they result in new phylogenetic and systematic insights. Digitalised images are standard in recent morphological and anatomical studies. Ecological research of phragmiticolous fungi is based on morphological-taxonomic studies because abundant species are unsufficiently known or underscribed.
