Project: Immunohistochemical investigation of inflammatory mechanisms in nasal mucosa end antigen handling in nasopharyngeal associated lymfoid tissue.
- project duration
- 01-JAN-00 – 31-DEC-99
- This research project is made up by two different studies that both use immunohistochemical techniques. 1) The pathogenesis of polyps in allergic and non allergic rhinitis with eosinophilia patients is investigated by monoclonal antibodies. 2) Cells in adenoids and tonsils are identified and morphologically evaluated, in order to understand their interactions and role in antigen handling.
