Abstract

The project will attempt to establish the relation between the drapability of a reinforcing fabric and its mechanical and construction parameters. The aim of this project is predicting how a given fabric will drape on a given surface (via a test method for draping and a computer simulation).This will reduce the material waste as well as the time required to put a new composite model into production.
