- I am a highly driven Environmental engineer with over 7 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering. Currently, I am a Post-doctoral researcher working at Ghent University, Belgium. My research interests, experiences, and expertise include, but are not limited to the following areas: • Digitalization in the wastewater treatment sector • Carbon footprint minimization in Water Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRF) • Practical application of resource recovery strategies in WRRFs • Modeling and energy optimization of WRRFs • Microbiological and Physico-chemical characterization of wastewater • Application of machine learning-based soft-sensors for the advanced weather-resilient operation of WRRFs • Estimation and direct measurement of Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from WRRFs
