- Dr. Xiaowen Xu got his PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Ghent University at Nov/2019. During his PhD training, he mainly focused on the development of (1) Supramolecular hydrogels, (2) Stimuli-responsive polymers and (3) Poly(2-oxazoline)s. After a short-term (3 months) postdoc training in the same group at UGent, he joined University of Massachusetts Medical School as a postdoctoral associate dealing with shape-memory polymers as scaffolds for tissue engineering.
