- Matteo Picchio received his BA, Msc, and Ph.D. in Economics from Marche Polytechnic University (Ancona) in 2003, 2004, and 2007, respectively. Between 2004 and 2009 he also studied at the Université catholique de Louvain, where he obtained a Master of Arts (2005) and a Ph.D. in Economics (2009). Since November 2012 he is employed at Marche Polytechnic University where he is Associate Professor in Economics. He is also CentER fellow, IZA research fellow, and extramural researcher of the Department of Economics of Ghent University. His research interests include microeconometrics, labour economics, economics of educations, health economics, and economics of ageing.
