- I am an FWO Senior Researcher at Ghent University (Belgium) - Department of European, Public and International Law; Human Rights Centre and Human Rights in Context. I hold a Ph.D. in Law from Verona University (Italy). My profile includes teaching and researching international economic law in different countries - Ecuador (country of origin), the USA, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, and Russia. Before joining Ghent University, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Law Department Turin University (Italy) and a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for International Law in Heidelberg (Germany). My research interests include the legitimacy of international investment adjudication, human rights protection, and transnational digital infrastructures.
